Training Success!
Congratulations to William Bentley on completing his apprenticeship!
William proudly received his certificate from his father, Warren Bentley, Director and Contracts Manager at Christchurch Electrical after completing his apprenticeship.
This significant milestone reflects William's dedication and hard work, as well as family legacy. With over 70 years of service in the Canterbury region, we are committed to nurturing talent and fostering a supportive environment for growth.
Apprentices like William are essential to our future, ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality electrical services to our community. We’re excited to see the great contributions he will make in his career!

It's OK To Not Be OK
In our lives today, we can all face levels of stress and mental health challenges, making open conversations about wellbeing essential. At Christchurch Electrical, we are committed to fostering a supportive environment where it’s OK to not be OK, breaking down stigma and encouraging everyone to seek help when needed.
Recently, team member Jimmy Stewart courageously shared his personal mental health journey. He described a turning point during a family holiday in Bali when he realised he wasn’t OK, symbolised by a moment of reflection at a shipwreck. Jimmy spoke honestly about withdrawing from loved ones and masking his feelings, which left him mentally exhausted. With the support of family, professional help, and strategies like reconnecting with nature and staying connected with friends, Jimmy found his way through.
His openness reminds us all that with the right support and tools, there is a way through challenging times.
